| Okay I got my first paycheck...and I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Let's just say that the hours Lauren works times the amount that she was paid does NOT equal happiness. Oh well, my dad told me its good for me, like a stupid life lesson or something. Whatever. He always says that when he doesn't know what to say. Really he was just trying to seem all fatherly since Father's Day IS right around the corner. Screw the present though, now I can't afford one... |

| I am going to write a book about all of the crazy things I have seen at work so far. It has only been like two weeks but still, there is NEVER a dull moment. |

| Folks it has been a year since I went to Europe LAST summer. Rachel is actually there again--I am soooo freakin jealous. She better not have more fun than the super six did last year! I am ready for a reunion...Lindsey never gave us that darn video that she taped over the course of the trip. Plus, I wanted to see everyone else's pictures. I believe Rachel is having fun though...I got a rather interesting voice mail on my phone from her and Lindsey, those crazy kids!
I WANT TO GO BACK!!!!!!!!!! |

| Okay so about two weeks ago I bought some new DVD's at Movie Gallery. Well, new to me, they had a buy two, get two free previously viewed DVD sale and Jessica and I racked up. Over the two week period she was here, I am pretty sure she added about 36 new movies to her collection. Kidding. I, on the other hand, got: The Brothers Grimm, Memoirs of a Geisha, Pride and Prejudice, and RENT! I was more than pleasantly surprised that the first two were really good, considering that I just bought them on a whim. Memoirs especially, it was very good, and the kind of bitchy, jealous geisha was sooo pretty! I was so upset that she had to be so nasty. RENT of course is amazing, I already knew that when I saw it in theatres. WOULD YOU LIGHT MY CANDLE? I decided that I heart Rosario Dawson. Pride and Prejudice, however, is no doubt my favorite of the the four. Kiera Knightley...not so much on her performance in the beginning..but her banter with Mr. Darcy was awesome. Mr. Darcy is awesome--very much as I had imagined him in the book. READ IT! This week has a pretty blah start considering that so far all I have done is watch these movies and get uniforms for my new job. I am pretty exicted--even though I have to wear sensible black pants and plain black shoes. I didn't own sensible anything until today--everything I have has sparkles and such... |
